PALMYRA, ME — A New York man has been arrested in connection with a March homicide in Palmyra.
Kareem Quattlebaum, 38, of New York, was arrested Wednesday at approximately 1 p.m. in the Bronx, New York, by the FBI New York Office.
Quattlebaum is charged with the murder of Jaquan Humphries, 28, of Mattapan, Massachusetts.
Humphries was shot and killed on March 12 at a residence located at 531 Madawaska Road in Palmyra.
Quattlebaum was taken to NYPD Central Booking and will be held at Rikers Island pending an extradition hearing.
The Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit Central was assisted in the investigation by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force in Maine and the FBI New York Office.
