ORWELL, VT — A 64-year-old man was arrested on a first degree aggravated domestic assault charge following an investigation into an incident that occurred earlier this month.
Troopers from the New Haven Barracks responded at approximately 4:43 p.m. Oct. 16 to a report of an incident that occurred Oct. 3 at a residence in Orwell.
Through investigation, it was determined that Andrew Kukis, 64, of Orwell, caused pain or serious bodily injury to a family or household member, according to Vermont State Police.
Kukis was taken into custody and transported to the New Haven Barracks for processing.
He was lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Center on $1,000 bail.
Kukis was issued a citation to appear at Addison County Superior Court on Oct. 17 at 12:30 p.m.
