NORFOLK, NY — Members of the New York State Police arrested a 34-year-old man for third-degree assault and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent.
Troopers responded to a domestic dispute on State Route 56 at approximately 2:35 p.m. Oct. 15.
Upon investigation, it was determined that Hugh E. Boyd was driving the victim’s vehicle with the victim inside.
During the incident, Boyd became physically aggressive.
He kicked the victim out of the car, leaving the victim on the side of the road, and subsequently took the vehicle without the victim’s permission.
Boyd was arrested and transported to SP Massena for processing.
He was arraigned in the Town of Norfolk Court and released on his own recognizance.
