SYRACUSE, NY — Members of the Syracuse Police Department executed three high-risk search warrants Wednesday night, recovering over 120 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of fentanyl and a large amount of U.S. currency.
The warrants were executed around 9:55 p.m. Oct. 15 at 2005 East Fayette Street, apartment 106; 1901 East Fayette Street, apartment 1J; and the Rodeway Inn at 6578 Thompson Road.
The operation involved members of the Syracuse Police Department Patrol Division, Special Investigations Division, Gang Violence Task Force detectives and SWAT personnel.
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police assisted with the execution of the search warrants.
Police recovered 120.6 grams of cocaine, 28.5 grams of fentanyl, 2.3 grams of methamphetamine, drug packaging and scales, and $2,422 in cash.
An additional large sum of money was turned over to the DEA for forfeiture proceedings, with the total amount unknown at this time.
Jakeith Jackson, 30, of Syracuse, was arrested and charged with six counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, and four counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree.
Amanda Crowell, 36, of Syracuse, was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and an out-of-state warrant.
Charges are pending against several other individuals in relation to the investigation.
