OTEGO, NY — A Guilford man faces drug and alcohol-related charges following a traffic stop Tuesday.
Randall S. Murwin, 37, was arrested on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, driving while intoxicated and open container in a motor vehicle, according to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a vehicle and traffic complaint in the town of Otego on Oct. 14.
Murwin was found to be operating a motor vehicle on a public roadway while intoxicated by alcohol, authorities said.
He was also found to be in possession of suspected controlled substances, according to the sheriff’s office.
Murwin was processed and held until centralized arraignment.
He is scheduled to appear in Town of Otego Court.
