Woman arrested on fugitive warrant in Warwick

WARWICK — A Central Falls woman was arrested on a fugitive warrant following a traffic stop on Route 95 at 9:15 p.m.

Jovanna Nunez, 36, of Central Falls, was charged with being a fugitive from justice out of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The warrant was issued by the Rehoboth Police Department for larceny and forgery.

Nunez was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, where she was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.

She was turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Women’s Intake Center.

In a separate incident at 11:55 p.m., troopers arrested Angelique Cullen, 43, of Jamestown, Rhode Island, for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, first offense.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 in the town of Jamestown.

Cullen was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, where she was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.

She was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
