LINCOLN — A Providence man was arrested on fraud-related charges on Oct. 15.
Melvin Estevez, 35, of Providence, was taken into custody at 5 p.m. after responding to the Lincoln Woods Barracks.
State Police said the arrest was the result of a barracks investigation.
Estevez was charged with obtaining money under false pretenses, under $1,500, and receiving stolen goods, under $1,500.
He was processed and arraigned by the justice of the peace and released with a future Sixth Division District Court arraignment date.
