Woman charged with criminal mischief in Utica

UTICA — A woman has been charged in connection with damage to a vehicle that occurred in early August.

Utica police took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle in which four tires were slashed and scratch marks were made across the vehicle.

The total estimated damages were found to be more than $2,200.

The case was assigned to a member of the Criminal Investigations Division.

Through the investigation, a positive suspect identity was made.

On Oct. 14, Mary Sanders, 50, of Utica, was charged with criminal mischief in the second degree.
