Man arrested on warrant in South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR — Police arrested a Manchester man on an active warrant Friday in connection with the theft of a lawn mower from a local home improvement store.

Jarrett J. Krischke, 43, of Manchester, was taken into custody at 9:57 a.m. Oct. 10.

The charge stems from a June larceny of a $569 lawn mower from Lowes at 31 Buckland Hills Drive.

Krischke was processed and presented at Manchester Superior Court on Oct. 10, as he was already in state custody on charges from other jurisdictions.

SOUTH WINDSOR — Police arrested an East Hartford woman on an active warrant Friday for allegedly giving false information to an officer during a traffic stop.

Jessica L. Marchinski, 52, of East Hartford, was taken into custody at 11:49 a.m. Oct. 10.

The charges stem from an April incident in which police determined she provided the name and date of birth of another person during a traffic stop to avoid officers discovering her suspended license.

Marchinski turned herself in at police headquarters and was processed and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

She is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Oct. 29 at 9 a.m.

SOUTH WINDSOR — Police arrested a Hartford man Friday after he allegedly stole merchandise from a retail store.

Jose Antonio Olmeda Reyes, 71, of Hartford, was taken into custody at 8:48 p.m. Oct. 10.

Police responded to Target at 125 Buckland Hills Drive for reports of a larceny in progress.

Reyes was identified as the individual who stole $136.94 worth of merchandise.

He was issued a misdemeanor summons and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Court on Oct. 29 at 9 a.m.

Woman arrested on restraining order violation in South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR — Police arrested a local woman Sunday for allegedly violating a restraining order.

Amy D. Erickson, 56, of South Windsor, was taken into custody at 4:24 p.m. Oct. 12.

Police responded to a residence in South Windsor and determined Erickson violated a restraining order that barred her from being at that residence.

Erickson was processed and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

She appeared in Manchester Superior Court on Oct. 14 at 9 a.m.
