PROVIDENCE — A man wanted by Vermont authorities on a probation violation was arrested Oct. 14.
John Hammond, 49, of Providence, was taken into custody by members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force.
Hammond was wanted as a fugitive from justice from Vermont for probation violation on an original charge of kidnapping.
He was transported to Sixth District Court and arraigned as a fugitive from justice.
