Man arrested on warrant in East Greenwich

EAST GREENWICH — Troopers arrested Brian Gonzalez, 23, of Providence, at 1 a.m. on a Sixth District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for technical violation on the original charge of domestic violence – disorderly conduct originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 4.

Gonzalez was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later transferred to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center.

At 10:50 a.m., troopers arrested Darnell Taylor, 27, of North Providence, for affidavit and arrest warrant on the original charge of making a false report originating out of the Bristol Police Department.

The arrest was the result of the subject responding to the Rhode Island State Police-Wickford Barracks.

The subject was processed and later turned over to the Bristol Police Department.

At 10:55 p.m., troopers arrested Scott Huston, 53, of Berwyn, Pennsylvania, for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor – BAC .15 or greater – first offense (Phase I: 0.174% & Phase II: 0.175%).

The arrest was a result of troopers responding to an erratic operator on Route 95 in Warwick.

Huston was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
