CHEMUNG COUNTY — Three people were arrested on outstanding warrants between Oct. 10 and Oct. 13, according to authorities.
Andrew R. Penfield, 38, of Elmira, was arrested Oct. 10 on an active arrest warrant for failure to appear on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, issued by Southport Town Court on Jan. 17.
Penfield was arraigned by Southport Town Court and released.
Jonathan D. Vanhouten, 44, of Elmira, was arrested Oct. 13 on an active superior court warrant for failure to appear on charges of burglary in the third degree, issued by Chemung County Court on Oct. 6.
Vanhouten is being held at the Chemung County Jail pending arraignment by the Chemung County Court.
Nicholas D. Cole, 33, of Horseheads, was arrested Oct. 13 on an outstanding superior court warrant for failure to appear on charges of driving while ability impaired by drugs, issued by Chemung County Court on Sept. 22.
Cole is being held at the Chemung County Jail pending arraignment by the Chemung County Court.
Man arrested on assault charges in Southport

SOUTHPORT — A man was arrested Oct. 13 following a domestic dispute.
Shawn J. Boone, 23, of Elmira, was arrested on charges of assault in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a child, both class A misdemeanors.
Boone was arraigned by Southport Town Court and released.
