CANTON — A Brockton man wanted in connection with a September drug and firearms investigation in Weymouth was arrested Tuesday by state and local authorities.
Arsenio Andrade, 29, of Brockton, was apprehended by the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Team working with the Weymouth Narcotics Unit.
Andrade was arrested on four outstanding warrants, including one stemming from a Sept. 15 incident at Hanover Crossing in Weymouth.
During that operation, the Weymouth Narcotics Unit executed search warrants at two apartments at 1335 Washington St. in Weymouth, seizing firearms, illegal drugs and cash.
The Quincy District Court warrant charges Andrade with four counts of possession of a firearm without an FID card, six counts of possession of a large capacity feeding device, two counts of trafficking cocaine, trafficking fentanyl over 200 grams, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of ammunition.
A Brockton District Court warrant charges him with breaking and entering a building during the daytime for a felony, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a pregnant victim and destruction of property over $1,200.
Two Plymouth Superior Court warrants charge him with trafficking fentanyl more than 10 grams and possession of a Class E drug.
