CUBA — A 71-year-old Cuba man was arrested Oct. 9 on felony charges after allegedly attempting to stab two police officers with a knife.
Thomas J. Kazanjian was taken into custody at approximately 10:50 p.m., according to the Cuba Police Department.
Kazanjian faces charges of criminal trespass in the second degree, obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree, resisting arrest, menacing a police officer and attempted assault on a police officer.
The criminal trespass, obstruction and resisting arrest charges are misdemeanors, while the menacing and attempted assault charges are felonies.
Kazanjian was processed and sent to the Allegany County Jail.
