2 arrested on drug charges after Allegany traffic stop

ALLEGANY — Two Great Valley residents were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop early Oct. 10.

Brandon J. Wyatt, 42, and Christina S. Wyatt, 47, were passengers in a vehicle stopped at 2:16 a.m. on Buffalo Road for vehicle and traffic law infractions, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver consented to a vehicle search during the investigation.

Deputies located drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

A search of the passengers and vehicle revealed Brandon J. Wyatt was in possession of suspected fentanyl, suboxone strips and packaging material.

Christina S. Wyatt was found with suspected methamphetamine and packaging material.

Both were transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Olean Substation for processing.

Brandon J. Wyatt was released on an appearance ticket for two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree.

Christina S. Wyatt was released on an appearance ticket for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree.

Both are scheduled to appear in Town of Allegany Court at a later date.
