WEST PAWLET — A 14-year-old girl who went missing Saturday morning has been located and returned home, Vermont State Police said.
Faith Baker was last seen leaving her residence on Euclid Street at approximately 7:10 a.m. on Oct. 12.
Police believed she was traveling on foot toward New York.
Baker was described as having brown hair and wearing a tan sweatshirt with butterflies, black sweatpants and ankle-high black boots.
The Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks had been actively pursuing leads on Baker’s whereabouts and had asked for public assistance in locating her.
Police reminded the public that it is a criminal violation of Vermont law to intentionally harbor a runaway juvenile from their parents or legal guardian.
