CALAIS — A 31-year-old Calais man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle left the roadway on County Road Friday night.
Vermont State Police responded to the single-vehicle crash at 8:26 p.m. near Kent Hill Road.
Rory Woodard was driving a 2011 Subaru Outback when the vehicle drifted over the fog line before leaving the roadway and crashing, according to police.
Woodard displayed signs of impairment while speaking with troopers, police said.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Berlin Barracks for processing.
Woodard sustained no injuries in the crash and his vehicle suffered minor front-end damage.
Weather conditions were clear with dry blacktop road conditions at the time of the crash.
Woodard was issued a citation to appear in Washington Superior Court – Criminal Division.
