WILTON — State Police arrested a 20-year-old Moreau, N.Y., man Sept. 25 on charges related to child sexual exploitation.
Zachary Taylor faces charges of promoting a sexual performance by a child, a class D felony, and possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.
State Police worked with the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in the investigation.
Taylor is accused of promoting and possessing images consistent with child sexual exploitation.
The investigation began with a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Police executed a search warrant at Taylor’s residence in Moreau, N.Y., on Sept. 25.
Taylor was transported to State Police Wilton where he was processed.
He was arraigned at Moreau Town Court and released under supervision of the Saratoga County Probation Department.
