Jamestown man arrested on domestic violence, child endangerment charges

JAMESTOWN — A man was arrested Wednesday night on domestic violence and child endangerment charges following a police response to a north side residence.

Officers from the Jamestown Police Department responded to the address at about 9:26 p.m. Oct. 8 for a domestic dispute.

Police learned that Darius T. Walker had damaged property belonging to the victim.

Officers also determined that Walker applied pressure to the neck or throat of the victim while in the presence of a small child during a previous incident.

Walker was taken into custody and transported to the city jail.

He is charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree, endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation.

Walker is being held pending his arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
