FLEMING — A 55-year-old Camillus man was arrested Sept. 29 on drug and weapon charges following a suspicious incident investigation, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Peter J. Day was charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 4th degree and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd degree.
Deputies responded to a business in Fleming at approximately 2:56 p.m. for a reported suspicious incident complaint.
The investigation led to a search warrant being executed, during which a switchblade knife, a metal knuckle knife and 6.8 grams of cocaine were discovered.
Day was arrested at 5:35 p.m. and processed at the Public Safety Building.
He was arraigned at CAP Court and released on his own recognizance.
Day is scheduled to appear in Fleming Court on Oct. 14 at 4:30 p.m.
