DEERING — Hillsboro officers responded to a domestic disturbance involving a firearm being discharged inside a residence around 9:52 p.m. Sept. 13.
The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.
While officers responded to the residence, others searched the area for the suspect.
He was later located at one of the Deering Fire Stations and taken into custody by Hillsboro and Antrim Police.
He has been identified as Andrew Valliere, 61, of Deering.
His vehicle was seized and brought to the Hillsboro Police Department.
Following the approval of a search warrant, the suspected firearm was recovered from the vehicle.
The suspect was booked and transported to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending a future court date.
