SHELDON — Two vehicles collided on Vermont Route 105 near Colton Road Thursday morning, according to Vermont State Police.
The crash occurred at approximately 8:52 a.m. when Joseph Dematos, 59, of Enosburgh, failed to stop his 2018 Chevrolet Traverse before striking the rear of a 2005 Ford F-250, police said.
The F-250 was operated by Jamie Raymo, 34, of Franklin, who had stopped to turn left onto Colton Road while traveling east on Route 105, according to police.
Dematos was also traveling east on Route 105 when the collision occurred, police said.
Both operators were wearing seat belts and no injuries were reported, according to police.
Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks responded to the scene and were assisted by the Sheldon Fire Department and Larose’s Towing.
The crash remains under investigation.
