WATERBURY — Members of the Waterbury Police Department’s Vice and Intelligence Unit and Auto Theft Task Force executed several search and seizure warrants Oct. 8, resulting in the arrest of two men on drug and weapons charges.
Police executed warrants for a residence at 38 Rumford Street, for Ricardo Negron, 42, of Waterbury, and for a white 2010 Mercedes C300.
During the investigation, police seized ammunition, 100 MDMA pills, 50 bags of heroin, over an ounce of crack and a Radical Arms RF-15 firearm.
Negron was charged with unlawful storage of a firearm, illegal sale/transfer of a firearm, possession of a high-capacity magazine, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, criminal possession of an assault weapon, criminal possession of a firearm/ammunition, possession of a controlled substance in a school zone, possession of 1/2 ounce or more of cocaine in free base form and two counts of possession of hallucinogenic substance with intent to sell.
Police said Negron is a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition.
Juelz Clinton, 21, of Waterbury, was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of a controlled substance in a school zone.
