HALFMOON — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 32-year-old Halfmoon man Tuesday on charges of first-degree sexual abuse, a class D felony.
David A. Rivera was taken into custody following an investigation that began Saturday at 8:52 p.m. when deputies received a sexual assault complaint.
The alleged incident reportedly occurred on Park Plaza in Halfmoon.
Rivera is accused of subjecting a person less than 11 years old to sexual contact.
He was arraigned before Judge Robert A. Rybak in Clifton Park Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
Rivera’s case will proceed in Halfmoon Town Court.
