DELHI — A 21-year-old Delhi man was arrested Wednesday on assault and other charges following a domestic incident that left a woman injured while she was holding an infant.
Logan M. Hitchcock faces charges of assault in the third degree, unlawful imprisonment in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Delhi Police Department.
Officers were dispatched at approximately 6:30 p.m. to a reported domestic dispute at a residence on Meredith Street.
Police determined that a verbal altercation had escalated into a physical incident during which a female victim sustained injuries while holding an infant child.
The victim was evaluated by Delhi EMS and transported to O’Connor Hospital for further medical care.
Hitchcock was located later that evening and taken into custody without incident.
He was processed on the charges and transported to Delaware County Centralized Arraignment Part Court for arraignment.
A temporary order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim and child.
