WELLS — State Police arrested Elena Mann Gow, 27 of Fairfax, for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree, and Vehicle and Traffic Law violations on Sept. 29.
Troopers stopped a vehicle on State Route 30 in Wells at about 12:07 p.m. for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation and identified the driver as Mann Gow.
Further investigation discovered felony weight narcotics within the vehicle along with a large amount of U.S. currency.
Mann Gow was arrested and transported to SP Mayfield for processing.
She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Wells Town Court on Oct. 12 and released.
