SAUGERTIES — Police arrested a 43-year-old Saugerties man Friday afternoon following a retail theft complaint.
Derek J. Cafaldo was taken into custody at about 4:30 p.m. Oct. 3, according to the Saugerties Police Department.
Cafaldo was charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor, following an investigation into the complaint.
He was processed at the Saugerties Police Department and released on an appearance ticket.
Cafaldo is scheduled to appear in Town of Saugerties Justice Court at a later date.
