2 arrested after biting incident at Jamestown convenience store

JAMESTOWN — Officers responded to a fight involving several people at the 7-Eleven on N. Main St. at 10:29 p.m. Oct. 5.

Police secured the scene and requested emergency medical services as multiple individuals were actively fighting and several had apparent injuries.

The investigation determined that Darieli Rodriguez entered the store and began provoking customers before striking and biting a victim.

Leonela Rodriguez, who accompanied Darieli, also bit an additional victim, causing injury.

Both suspects were placed into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail.

Darieli was charged with harassment in the second degree and obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.

Leonela was charged with assault in the third degree.

Darieli was held pending arraignment, and Leonela was released on an appearance ticket.
