NAUGATUCK — A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after crashing on Andrew Mountain Road near Yorktown Road on Oct. 4.
Naugatuck Police responded to the single-vehicle crash at approximately 6:14 p.m.
Officers found the motorcycle had gone off the roadway.
The operator was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The Naugatuck Valley Collision Investigation Team is investigating the crash.
Preliminary findings indicate the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Andrew Mountain Road and failed to negotiate a sharp right-hand curve before leaving the roadway.
