MORETOWN — Vermont State Police responded to a single vehicle crash on River Road at 8:36 p.m. Oct. 6.
The operator was identified as Madison Commo, 25, of Duxbury.
Troopers located Commo at a relative’s house in Middlesex.
Investigation determined Kelley Mayo, 45, of Middlesex, drove to the accident scene and picked up Commo.
Investigation determined Commo lost control of her 2010 Chrysler Sebring before leaving the roadway and crashing at 2536 River Road.
The vehicle sustained moderate damage.
Commo was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
Weather was clear and road conditions were dry dirt.
While speaking with troopers, Commo and Mayo displayed signs of impairment.
They were both subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI and were transported to the Montpelier Police Department for processing.
Commo and Mayo were later released with citations to appear in Washington Superior Court – Criminal Division.
