Palmyra woman arrested on domestic altercation charges

PALMYRA — Police responded to a domestic altercation at 330 West Main Street on Sept. 30 involving a Palmyra woman, her ex-partner, and his current girlfriend.

During the investigation, officers determined that the suspect, Katie DeJohn, of West Main Street, had been yelling at the involved parties, threw property at their vehicle, and physically interfered with officers attempting to restore order.

It was further confirmed that DeJohn was in violation of an active Order of Protection.

DeJohn was taken into custody without injury and transported to the Palmyra Police Department for processing.

She was charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree, Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the Second Degree, and two counts of Harassment in the Second Degree.

DeJohn was held at Wayne County Jail for arraignment in CAP Court.

The Palmyra Police Department was assisted on scene by the Macedon Police Department.
