GATES — Two Rochester residents were arrested Oct. 5 after police responded to reports of people breaking into cars in the Coldwater Road and Bending Creek area.

Gates Police Department officers quickly located and stopped a suspect vehicle fleeing the scene.

Benjamin Willard, 45, and Molly Warner, 45, both of Rochester, were found in possession of stolen items including a credit card, police said.

Both suspects were charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a class E felony, and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Police determined both suspects were predicate felons.
