Woman arrested in Lancaster road rage incident

LANCASTER — A Vermont woman was arrested Oct. 3 after a road rage incident escalated into a physical altercation.

Officer Komisarek of the Lancaster Police Department initially responded to a reported road rage incident.

While en route, it was reported that the incident had turned physical and the parties were fighting.

Upon arrival, Officer Komisarek found the parties had been separated.

After speaking to all parties and reviewing witness testimony, Kyleigh Egan, 26, of Gilman was arrested for simple assault.

Egan was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Lancaster Police Department.

She was booked and released on personal recognizance bail with a pending court date in Lancaster District Court.
