ST. JOHNSBURY — A 53-year-old man escaped injury Monday morning when his vehicle overturned on Interstate 91 near Exit 21.
Vermont State Police responded to the single-vehicle crash at approximately 6:30 a.m.
Dwight Ricker of Topsham was driving a 2007 Chevrolet HHR northbound on I-91 when the vehicle veered off the western edge of the roadway, according to preliminary investigation.
Ricker attempted to regain control and re-enter the roadway, causing the vehicle to overturn.
The vehicle came to rest on its roof in the middle of the interstate.
Ricker was not wearing a seat belt but was uninjured in the crash.
The vehicle was totaled.
Weather conditions at the time were foggy, though road conditions were reported as good.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
