Topsham man discovers fuel tank vandalized at gas station

TOPSHAM — Vermont State Police are investigating a vandalism incident after a 34-year-old man discovered his vehicle’s fuel tank had been stabbed.

Justin Faucette of Topsham went to his car at his residence on Powder Spring Road at approximately 6:30 a.m. Monday and realized he needed gas.

Faucette drove to P&H Truck Stop and began pumping gas when he discovered fuel was pouring onto the ground.

An investigation revealed someone had stabbed a hole in the fuel tank.

Vermont State Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Trooper Jason Haley at the St. Johnsbury Barracks at 802-748-3111.
