Bridgewater crash leads to drug impairment arrest

BRIDGEWATER — Vermont State Police arrested a 36-year-old Illinois woman on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs following a single-vehicle crash Oct. 4.

Morgan Hill of Naperville, Illinois, was taken into custody after her vehicle crashed into a guardrail on Gunderson Road at approximately 9:42 p.m.

Troopers from the Royalton Barracks responded to the crash scene and identified Hill as the operator.

During the investigation, Hill displayed signs of impairment, police said.

Hill was arrested and transported to the Royalton State Police Barracks for processing.

She was released on citation and will answer to the DUI drugs charge at a later date.
