HOLBROOK — Officers responded to a medical emergency in which a party was unresponsive in a locked motor vehicle.
Utilizing a window-break tool, officers made entry into the vehicle, extracted the party, and began life-saving measures with the assistance of the Holbrook Fire Department.
While the party was being removed, a holstered handgun fell from the party’s waist.
The firearm did not contain serial numbers and was later identified as a P80 9mm semi-automatic pistol, commonly referred to as a “ghost gun.”
The gun had a live round chambered and 10 rounds in the magazine.
It was determined the party did not have a Massachusetts license to carry.
The involved party was summonsed for firearm charges.
