SPRINGFIELD — A 37-year-old Springfield man was arrested on a drug DUI charge after police found him passed out in his running vehicle outside Dollar General on July 15.
Officers responded to the store at 6:56 p.m. following reports of a male passed out in his vehicle.
Police located a silver Chevrolet Malibu with the engine running and found Ross Kuntzelmann unconscious inside.
After investigation, officers determined Kuntzelmann allegedly operated the vehicle under the influence of drugs.
Kuntzelmann was taken into custody without incident.
He was processed and issued a criminal citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit, on Nov. 4 at 8:30 a.m.
The investigation was conducted by Officer Lewis-Briere and Sergeant Perkins.
