Livonia man arrested on burglary, grand larceny charges

LIVONIA — A 55-year-old Livonia man has been arrested on felony burglary and grand larceny charges following a July break-in at a business on East Lake Road.

Thomas Williamee was taken into custody Sept. 26 in Erie County without incident, according to Livingston County Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty.

Deputies were dispatched to the East Lake Road business at approximately 7 a.m. July 16 for a reported burglary that occurred overnight.

Criminal investigators identified Williamee as the suspect through their investigation.

Williamee was charged with felony burglary in the second degree and felony grand larceny in the fourth degree.

He was transported to the Livingston County Jail for processing and pre-arraignment detention.

Williamee was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part before Town of Avon Justice Hoffman.

The District Attorney’s Office recommended Williamee be held on $15,000 cash or bond.

The judge released Williamee with non-monetary conditions in place.

The Livingston County Public Defender’s Office represented Williamee at the arraignment.

The investigation was handled by members of the Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division, Criminal Investigations Division and Forensic Identification Unit.
