Auburn woman charged with menacing ex-boyfriend with knife

AUBURN — Auburn Police Officers were dispatched to a residence on Beach Ave. for a reported physical domestic incident on Sept. 27 at approximately 6:20 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers determined that the female suspect, Nicole Deyo, arrived to the male victim’s house uninvited.

Once there, Deyo entered the victim’s residence and a physical domestic incident ensued.

During the course of the fight, Deyo grabbed a large kitchen knife, and menaced the victim with it, causing him to fear for his life.

There was also an active order of protection, protecting the victim from Deyo.

As a result of the investigation, Deyo was charged with Criminal Contempt First Degree, Menacing Second Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon Fourth Degree, and Harassment Second Degree.

Deyo was transported to the Cayuga County Jail for arraignment.

The Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office recommended she be held on cash bail.
