PEMBROKE — A 36-year-old Providence man was arraigned Monday on multiple felony charges including carjacking and kidnapping of a 75-year-old woman.
Michael J. Guerrero was arrested late last week and extradited to Massachusetts on charges stemming from a Sept. 14 incident, according to a Pembroke Police Department press release issued Sunday.
The charges against Guerrero include carjacking, kidnapping, indecent assault and battery on a person over 60, assault with a dangerous weapon on a person over 60, and threats to commit a crime.
Police published a photo of the alleged perpetrator on Facebook shortly after receiving the initial report.
Within 24 hours, four local restaurants contacted police indicating the suspect had been a patron at their establishments on the same evening as the alleged crimes.
Guerrero was arraigned Monday in Plymouth District Court following his extradition.
