WEST HAVEN — A 64-year-old Essex Town man was arrested on his fifth DUI charge Saturday afternoon following a traffic stop on Vermont Route 22a.
Craig Lesage was pulled over at approximately 4:32 p.m. by Vermont State Police troopers from the Rutland Barracks for a motor vehicle violation.
During the interaction, troopers observed multiple indicators of impairment.
Lesage participated in standardized field sobriety tests and was subsequently taken into custody for driving under the influence.
He was also charged with criminal driving with a suspended license.
Lesage was transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing and issued a criminal citation to appear in court.
