PORTLAND — On Thursday, Sept. 25 at 8:47 a.m., Portland Police responded to a crash on Skyway Drive involving a car and a tractor trailer.
A 38-year-old female from Westbrook was traveling on Skyway Drive toward Congress Street when she struck the rear of a tractor trailer driving in the same direction.
The victim was transported to Maine Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Speed and wet roads are believed to have been factors in the accident.
No charges have been filed at this time.
Skyway Drive was closed for about four hours during this incident.
