PROVIDENCE — The Rhode Island State Police arrested six individuals on various charges during operations conducted Sept. 24 and Sept. 25.
Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Richard DiPanni, 59, of Warwick, on Sept. 24 on an affidavit and arrest warrant from the Cranston Police Department.
DiPanni was charged with violation of no contact order and violation of no contact order, third offense.
He was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Cranston Police Department on scene.
Also on Sept. 24, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Woonsocket Police Department arrested Isaiha T. Griffin, 27, of Woonsocket, on a fugitive from justice warrant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Griffin was charged with threat – terroristic – state offenses.
He was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Woonsocket Police Department on scene.
Members of the Auto Theft Unit arrested Lindsey Burdick, 41, of Scituate, on Sept. 24 for obtaining money under false pretenses over $10,000.
Burdick was special arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a future court date.
Also on Sept. 24, members of the Auto Theft Unit arrested Marta Martinez, 34, of Johnston, for obtaining money under false pretenses over $10,000.
Martinez was special arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a future court date.
On Sept. 25, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Ronald S. Shoemaker, 20, of 65 Ottawa Avenue, Warwick.
Shoemaker was charged with possession of child pornography and transfer of child pornography.
He was transported to the Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, and to Third District Court.
Shoemaker was arraigned by the Honorable Magistrate Ippolito, who issued $5,000 surety bail, with special conditions of no unsupervised contact with minors and restricted internet access.
Members of the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Felix A. Cortes, 38, of Fall River, Massachusetts, on Sept. 25.
Cortes was charged with possession with intent to deliver – fentanyl – ounce to kilogram, fugitive from justice, and Massachusetts Parole Board warrant for breaking and entering with intent to commit felony.
He was taken into custody without incident, processed at the Lincoln Barracks, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions pending a morning arraignment in Third District Court.
