FALMOUTH — The Falmouth Police Department said Wednesday it will continue investigating alleged threats made against a local school despite a district court’s dismissal of related charges.
Police acknowledged an announcement from Cape & Islands District Attorney Robert J. Galibois regarding the ongoing investigation.
The department said the facts of the case remain under active investigation even though the District Court charges referenced in the district attorney’s release have been dismissed.
Enhanced safety measures will continue at Falmouth Schools, police said.
The department said it wants to reassure the public that it will continue doing everything within its ability to ensure the safety of schools and the community.
