PROVIDENCE — Troopers arrested Alana Rios, age 32 of 119 Magnolia Street, Cranston, at 1:15 a.m. for a Providence County Superior Court bench warrant.
The warrant was issued for failure to appear for pretrial conference on the initial charge of obtaining property by false pretenses originating out of the State Police Headquarters.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Plainfield Street in Providence.
Rios was transported to the State Police Headquarters where she was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute – Women’s Intake Center.
