JAMESTOWN — Officers from the Jamestown Police Department arrested three people in separate incidents involving domestic disputes and drug possession between Sept. 23 and Sept. 24.
Luis A. Deleon Lopez was taken into custody at approximately 2:25 a.m. Sept. 23 after officers responded to a domestic dispute at a residence on the city’s south side.
Police determined that Deleon Lopez had taken two cell phones from the victim, preventing them from contacting 911.
He also entered the victim’s house without permission and threatened to damage property, which violated a valid stay-away order of protection held by the victim.
Deleon Lopez was charged with grand larceny 4th, criminal mischief 4th, harassment 2nd, criminal trespass 2nd and criminal contempt 1st.
At approximately 11:31 p.m. Sept. 23, officers responded to another southside address for a report of a domestic dispute.
Police learned that Georgeanna Ribbing had violated a court mandated order of protection by making physical contact with the victim.
Ribbing was placed into custody without incident and charged with harassment in the 2nd degree and criminal contempt in the 1st degree.
At approximately 2:38 a.m. Sept. 24, officers patrolling the area of E. 6th St. and Fulton St. observed Dioscelin E. Rodriguez, who was known to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest.
Officers attempted to stop Rodriguez, which resulted in a brief foot pursuit before she was taken into custody.
Rodriguez was found to be in possession of fentanyl and attempted to discard additional fentanyl in the back seat of the patrol car while being transported to jail.
Rodriguez was charged with resisting arrest, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, tampering with physical evidence and her outstanding warrant.
All three suspects were held pending arraignment.
