LYNDONVILLE — The Lyndonville Police Department received a complaint Sept. 12 at 10:56 p.m. of a truck that had collided with a guardrail alongside Red Village Road before rolling over and coming to rest on an adjacent lawn.
Upon arrival, the occupants had left the area.
After investigation, Karl Riendeau, 33, of St. Johnsbury was cited for leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage.
The victim was listed as the Town of Lyndon.
Riendeau is scheduled to be arraigned in Caledonia Superior Court Nov. 17 at 8:30 a.m.
The Lyndonville Police Department was assisted on scene by a deputy from the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department and a sergeant from the St. Johnsbury Police Department.
The vehicle was hauled away by Roland’s Wrecker Service.
