Man arrested for DUI after single-vehicle crash in Pittsford

PITTSFORD — A 23-year-old Chittenden man was arrested for driving under the influence after crashing his vehicle on Oxbow Road early Wednesday morning.

Troopers from the Rutland Barracks were notified of the single-vehicle crash at approximately 1:38 a.m. on Sept. 24.

The operator was identified as Liam Dube-Johnson of Chittenden.

Investigators determined Dube-Johnson was traveling eastbound on Oxbow Road when he lost control of his 2012 Chevrolet Silverado and exited the roadway via the southern shoulder.

The vehicle sustained moderate front end and undercarriage damage.

Dube-Johnson was wearing a seat belt and sustained no injuries.

While speaking with Dube-Johnson, troopers detected indicators of impairment.

Dube-Johnson was subsequently placed under arrest for DUI.

He was released with a citation to appear in Rutland County Superior Court, Criminal Division on Oct. 13 at 12:30 p.m.
