ALBANY — New York State Police reported nine driving while intoxicated arrests across multiple counties between Sept. 9 and Sept. 16.
The first incident occurred Sept. 9 at about 6:55 a.m. when State Police of Brunswick responded to a one-car crash on State Route 22 in Hoosick.
The driver was identified as Ryann N. Tilley, 24, of Bennington.
Two children under the age of 16 were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Tilley was transported to Southern Vermont Medical Center for medical evaluation, where a blood sample was taken to determine the alcohol and drug content of her blood.
The children sustained no injuries during the crash and were turned over to a family member.
Upon being discharged from the hospital, Tilley was processed at SP Brunswick for two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a Child (Leandra’s Law) and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.
She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Hoosick Town Court on Oct. 2 and released.
On Sept. 9 at about 10:24 p.m., State Police of Greenwich with the assistance of Greenwich Cambridge Police Department stopped a vehicle on Abeel Avenue in Greenwich for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation.
The driver was identified as Nathaniel D. Brushett, 41, of Greenwich.
Brushett was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.
He was transported to SP Greenwich for processing where he recorded a 0.23% BAC.
Brushett was issued tickets returnable to the Greenwich Town Court on Oct. 9 and released to a sober third party.
On Sept. 10 at about 8:20 p.m., State Police of Saratoga stopped a vehicle on State Route 9 in Malta for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation.
The driver was identified as Luna Ali, 35, of Bronx.
Ali was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.
While being taken into custody, Ali resisted arrest.
She was transported to SP Saratoga for processing where she recorded 0.20% BAC.
Ali was issued tickets returnable to the Malta Town Court on Sept. 25 and released.
On Sept. 11 at about 12:53 a.m., State Police of Brunswick responded to a one-car crash into a guide wire on State Route 7 in Colonie.
The uninjured driver was identified as Justine M. Juneau, 37, of Watervliet.
Juneau was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.
She was transported to SP Latham for processing where she recorded a 0.19% BAC.
Juneau was issued tickets returnable to the Colonie Town Court on Oct. 6 and released to a sober third party.
On Sept. 13 at about 1:10 p.m., State Police of Westerlo stopped a vehicle on I-87 in Colonie for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation.
The driver initially provided false identifying information but was later identified as Zachery M. Keenan, 28, of Delanson.
Keenan was arrested for Criminal Impersonation in the second degree, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the first degree, Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.
He was transported to SP Guilderland for processing where he refused to provide a sample to determine the alcohol content of his blood.
Further investigation discovered Keenan has had a previous DWI conviction in the last 10 years and his driving privileges had been revoked.
Keenan was arraigned at the Colonie Town Court where he was released under the supervision of the Albany County Probation Department.
On Sept. 13 at about 11:23 p.m., State Police of Mayfield stopped a vehicle on North Main Street in Broadalbin for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation.
The driver was identified as Aiden R. Leclair, 22, of Galway.
